This is an authentic carpenter's work bench from the late 1800's. It would be ideal for use as a kitchen island, bar, or wine testing table. And if you're looking for character, it doesn't get any better than this. Heavy, beefy, sturdy, and solid, this thing has been beaten on, cut on and seen a hard life for more than a hundred years and it has only gotten better. It has two vices and "h" stretchers that are tenoned through the end support. It has some paint splotches, gouges, nails, holes, and all of this adds to the rustic flavour of this piece. We will have this in the shop by the end of the month.
